GMVN to Host Majority of EV Charging Installations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
A large number of EV charging stations have been installed at Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN)<\/a> guest houses and key halt points along the Char Dham Yatra circuit. According to officials, charging facilities are currently available at 25 locations<\/strong>, with most stations located on GMVN-managed properties to ensure easy access for pilgrims. Each charging station is equipped with a universal 60 kW<\/strong> charger featuring two 30 kW<\/strong> charging guns, allowing multiple electric vehicles to be charged efficiently during travel halts .<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has stated that the Char Dham Yatra <\/a>is being organized this year with a clear focus on a \u201cGreen Yatra.\u201d He said the installation of EV charging stations is aligned with the state government\u2019s objective of promoting electric vehicles, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting responsible tourism.
