• Cash: Carry sufficient cash, as ATMs may be unavailable or non-functional in upper hill areas. Keep small denominations handy for pony/palki services, tea shops, and small expenses.
• Other Essentials: Sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 30+), lip balm, reusable water bottle, quick-dry towels, torch/flashlight with spare batteries, and power bank for charging phones.
• Trek Preparation: If trekking from Gaurikund, start early morning to avoid crowds and give yourself enough time for a comfortable pace. For elderly travellers, pre-book pony or palki services.
