Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Mussoorie (290 km / 7–8 hrs)

Your trip begins with a drive from Delhi towards Mussoorie, fondly called the Queen of Hills. Once you reach, check into your hotel and take some rest. By evening, step out for a relaxed stroll along Mall Road, grab a hot cup of tea, and maybe take in the views from Gun Hill. Stay overnight in Mussoorie.

Day 2: Exploring Mussoorie

After breakfast, set out to discover Mussoorie’s highlights. Start with Kempty Falls, a classic stop, and then wander through Camel’s Back Road and the pretty Company Garden. Don’t miss Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie, where the Himalayan peaks stretch across the horizon. If you like, enjoy the ropeway ride or shop for small souvenirs before heading back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mussoorie to Chopta (210 km / 8–9 hrs)

This morning, you’ll leave Mussoorie and drive towards Chopta, often described as Uttarakhand’s own Mini Switzerland. The road journey itself is scenic, with pine forests, winding mountain roads, and small villages along the way. Once you arrive, settle into your stay surrounded by nature. Spend the evening unwinding and enjoying a beautiful mountain sunset.

Day 4: Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila

Wake up early for one of the highlights of this trip — the trek to Tungnath. It’s about 3.5 km and takes you to the world’s highest Shiva temple. If you’re up for it, continue another 1.5 km to Chandrashila peak, where the 360° Himalayan view is truly unforgettable. Return to Chopta by afternoon and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 5: Chopta to Auli (160 km / 7–8 hrs)

Today’s drive takes you to Auli, the famous skiing destination. Once you reach, check into your hotel or resort and soak in the fresh mountain air. In the evening, walk through the meadows or take the Auli Ropeway — one of Asia’s longest — for spectacular views of Nanda Devi and other peaks. Stay overnight in Auli.

Day 6: Auli to Delhi (500 km / 12–13 hrs)

After breakfast, it’s time to start your journey back to Delhi. Carry home wonderful memories of Mussoorie’s charm, Chopta’s trek, and Auli’s Himalayan views. Drop at your preferred point in Delhi.
