Cancellation & Refund Policy At Travel Vaidya, we strive to provide our customers with exceptional travel experiences. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that require changes to your travel plans. Please read our refund policy carefully:

Cancellation by Customer

If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible via email or our customer service hotline. Refund eligibility is based on the following cancellation timelines:

  • More than 30 days before departure: 75% refund of the total amount paid.
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
  • 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total amount paid.
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund will be issued.

Any processing fees or charges incurred at the time of booking may be deducted from the total refund amount.

Cancellation by Travel Vaidya

In the rare event that we must cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government travel restrictions, etc.), we will offer you:

  • A full refund of the amount paid, or
  • A credit towards a future trip with us.

Changes to Your Booking

If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us at least 15 days prior to your departure date. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the changes.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events that may affect your trip. Travel insurance can provide coverage for trip cancellations, interruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Refund Process

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [your contact email]. Please include your booking reference number and the reason for the cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after receiving your cancellation request and will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns: We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products (applicable only in the context of digital service failure or booking issues). Since we offer travel services, traditional returns are not typically applicable.
However, if a service cannot be delivered due to provider-side failure (such as hotel closure or helicopter cancellation without alternate arrangement), a return or refund will be processed.

Exchanges: We accept exchanges only if an alternate tour date or service modification is requested and available.

Product Condition & Window

Product Condition: New only
All bookings must be in new, confirmed status and not previously used.

Return/Exchange Window: 7 days
Requests must be raised within 7 days of booking confirmation.

Method & Fees

Method: In store (i.e., via our official website or support team)
All refund or exchange requests must be made directly through Travel Vaidya’s customer service.

Restocking Fees: No cost
We do not charge any additional service or handling fee for eligible refunds or modifications.

Refund Processing Time: 30 days
Eligible refunds will be processed within 30 calendar days to the original payment method.

  • This policy applies only to services purchased directly from TravelVaidya.com.
  • Tour package bookings may also be subject to our tour-specific cancellation policy depending on the itinerary and suppliers.
  • Non-refundable services such as helicopter tickets, certain hotel bookings, and third-party processing fees are excluded from refunds.
