Day-Wise Char Dham Tour Itinerary from Bengaluru

Day 1: Delhi / Dehradun - Haridwar

Meet our representative in Delhi or Dehradun airport and drive to Haridwar. On arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Dinner and overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot (180 km drive/6-7 hrs)

We’ll begin the journey from Haridwar after breakfast and drive towards Barkot. The road passes through Mussoorie and Kempty Falls, offering scenic views of the hills. By evening, we’ll reach Barkot, check in at the hotel, have dinner, and rest overnight.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive + 6 km trek each side)

Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti and begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. After darshan and a dip at the holy Surya Kund, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4–5 hrs)

Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti and begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. After darshan and a dip at the holy Surya Kund, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km each side / 8–9 hrs total)

Early morning, drive along the Bhagirathi River to Gangotri Temple. Take a holy dip in the Ganga at Bhagirathi River, offer prayers, and return to Uttarkashi by evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 km / 9–10 hrs)

After breakfast, start the long drive to Guptkashi. The route passes through scenic valleys and river confluences. Check into the hotel at Guptkashi by evening, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Drive + 17 km trek)

Early morning you leave for Sonprayag, then a short local taxi to Gaurikund. From here your 17 km trek to Kedarnath starts.By evening you’ll be at the temple. Join the darshan and evening aarti, then stay overnight near the temple.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (17 km trek back)

Early morning you can go for darshan again if you missed earlier and visit nearby places. After that, trek back down to Gaurikund, take the local taxi to Sonprayag, and drive back to Guptkashi. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Guptkashi – Joshimath (170 km / 7–8 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Joshimath via Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag. On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening at leisure in Joshimath. Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 10: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath (45 km each side / 4–5 hrs total)

After an early breakfast, drive to Badrinath Temple for darshan. Visit nearby sites such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Saraswati River. By afternoon, return to Joshimath. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Joshimath – Rishikesh (270 km / 9–10 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Stop at Devprayag if time allows. Check in on arrival and rest. Dinner and overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi / Dehradun Drop

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi/Dehradun for departure.
